I've got a few in the next few months, the biggest ones being The Stooges (performing Raw Power!), the reformed Pavement and Pearl Jam in the summer. First up though I'm going to see Midlake in a couple of weeks.
As usual, they play at a fuckin' Wednesday in fuckin' Amsterdam..

Don't worry, they are harmless. They're a Rockabilly band from Belgium and even though i would never buy their music, the concerts are fun . Also, the tickets were only 12 euro and the concert is the night before my b-day
this is them :
SWOON !!!!!!
Apparently they're playing at a theater in my town.
Kinda sad, but it works to my benefit.

Also got a ticket for LCD Soundsystem in May and might go see Beach House in a month.
july 9th : Crosby Stills and Nash
november 26th : Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds ( for Otto's birthday)
december 5th : Simply Red
i had an urge to splurge....

edit : just got the news that Richard Thompson will be playing at the open air theater in Antwerp on june 30th ! Tickets sales start next saturday
love that guy

Ah, I'd love to see Iggy and the gang. And Pavement? wow, I didn't know that the've reformed. Do they have an album out?
Pearl Jam's playing in my "hometown" and so does Midlake, so I think I'll pick them up, too.
I saw Kevn Kinney a few weeks ago in Paradiso on a sunday afternoon. It was fabulous.
And our new fosterchild (14) got his first goosebumps when I played him some Snow Patrol, he's a fan now, and he learned to play guitar in 5 months, all by himself (and partially by my support ofcourse, pure mentally, I can't play a single note. Oh, and yes, I'm the one that bought that red fender squier with humbucker, just hoping someone would pick it up) so I got us two tickets for Amsterdam end of May. ( I hope I can still stand the intronotes of Chasing Cars, because he's been practising them for months now- and of Run, but I guess I will never get sick of that one-that tone is so unbelievably beautifully sad, that even a repeating beginner can't ruin it).
Beach House - A nice way to spend Valentine's Day.
Yeasayer - this one was so fantastic. Loved every second of it.
Local Natives w/Peggy Sue - Loved Peggy Sue (who I'd never heard before) and LN were good as well.
Panda Bear - Almost all new stuff. Lots of people left scratching their heads but I was ready to not recognise anything and enjoyed it.
Mumford & Sons - Phenomenal live band. The only down-side was a couple of people in the crowd singing drunkenly along.
James Vincent McMorrow - Pretty good. I'm waiting until he comes back with a full band though.
Now, the lined up ones:
Laura Marling (Really looking forward to this one)
Cathedral (Doom Metal band)
The Beach Boys (If I get a ticket in time)
Deep Purple
Bonnie 'Prince' Billy (He's playing a venue that's about 75m from where I'm living at the minute
There are a few more I'm considering but I'll have to see how the funds hold out.

Beach Boys are touring ? need to check out if they are coming to Belgium !
The John Butler Trio are coming to Antwerp . Does anyone know them and are they any good ? I've checked Youtube and am considering getting tickets but i'm not sure yet.

Another point that's making me wonder if I should go is the lineup. It seems to be Mike Love and Bruce Johnston with a whole load of hired hands. No Brian Wilsoon
june 19th-dave matthews band in noblesville indiana
july 17th-lady gaga in st. louis (or i might go to the indy concert july 15th instead)

like that list, esp Beach House and Panda Bear!
Went to see LCD Soundsystem last night, they were amazing. Haven't seen a Dutch crowd go that mad in a long time.
tonight there's a free festival here in my hometown, Hot Chip are playing as the last band. If I leave the window open I can hear them
