Just packed my bag because tomorrow morning we're off to Londen
I don't know if the hotel has a computer i can use so i might not be able to check who else will be going but i do hope to meet some Chainees or Ledgies (if they are nice ones )
Anyway, if all goes well (please everyone : cross your fingers for my tickets ) i'll be seeing Sharon there in the seat next to me

You know, you should have been there too ! Then again it's easy for me to talk; Londen by Eurostar is only 80 euro from Belgium and i understood from Marieke that it's more expensive from the Netherlands. So i'll just have to do the honours on your behalf and hug Sharon for you and then go over to Lindsey to give him your regards and cuddle him to death

Have not met Lindsey yet but i did run in to Seasick Steve at the Eurostar terminal in Brussels. We were at the coffee shop and this guy in jeans (pants, jacket) and baseball cap past by and i jokingly said to Otto : look there goes Seasick Steve . Then the guy turned around and it really was him . I sneaked a picture at St.Pancras station, will post when i get back.
Need to put my feet up now because we've been shopping all afternoon.
Tomorrow we are going to stake out the Ritz-Carlton so light a candle for us :laugh: Byeeeeee

On the Ledge i read that the band had stayed at the Mandarin in Kensington the last time they were in Londen, so this morning that is where we headed. We walked in trying to look as though we belonged there and walked around a bit but the place looked desterted; no one at the bar, empty breakfast room ... We could have taken the elevator up to roam all the floors but i did feel a bit uncomfortable about it,so we did 'nt. We left and went for a walk in the park hoping to run into Lindsey. My head swivelled like Linda Blairs' in the Excorcist so as not to miss anything but alas, no Lindsey. I'm so sorry Gerald, but i'm not cut out for this kind of thing . Last year at the Keswick it was much easier.
And for all i know they are not even staying at the Mandarin
Then again you never know...
One more night and it's showtime ! We are planning on getting there early enough to have our tickets checked out (yes, i'm still nervous about them) and possibly - but i hope not - get new tickets

ok. we just got back at the hotel and i'm exhausted so just a short recap of this evening.
The tickets were ok, i met Sharon (and her brother) and she is really really nice (brother too). I also met Pip, Tommer and David from the Ledge. It was great to meet some Ledgies/Chainies in person. The concert was awesome (got to touch Lindseys' guitar ) and the crowd loved it.
Took about 250 pictures so once home i'll try to post as quickly as possible.
Going to bed now as i'm nearly breaking off at my ankles (dutch saying )
I'm so happy
oh, and Lindsey was wearing a blue t-shirt instead of the red one.
And Stevie wore the red boots ! and she pointed at Lindsey when she sang " what is love" during Landslide.
