I'm not good at writing concert reviews but my first FM concert last night was fantastic ! ( with exception of the ticket debacle )
As predicted i chocked up when they started playing and i had tears streaming down my face for the whole duration of Landslide when the audience sang along every word.
Lindsey really was the star of the evening and had the whole venue up and aplauding and stomping their feet. And at the Sportpaleis that gives you the impression of a minor earth quake
I'm So Afraid live still gives me the chivers no matter how many times i hear it. Stevie looked a bit tired to me and only at the end she seemed fully alive and in to it when they did World Turning.
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but during Stand Back it seemed to me that LB was really having fun, singing along with all the words and mimicking some of Stevie's movements. I thought it was quite funny to watch.
And... Silver Springs was the closing song, with a really angry looking Stevie. Don't ask me about the full set list; i was too busy watching , enjoying and occasionally taking pictures , so i did not take notes. I have not had time to look at my pictures so i do not know if any turned out well or not. If they did, i will upload them as soon as i have the time.
And because of some human and technical problems, Marieke did not get any Stoofvlees met Frietjes but we did manage to meet before the concert. Now that we have each others' cell phone numbers we'll make sure that on the next occasion nothing goes wrong
