Does anyone know why John Stewart's great albums have never been released digitally? Does anyone have any of those songs at all on their computers?
And, lastly, before I try to figure them out myself, I thought I'd ask: Has anyone put down the chords for "Liddy Buck?''
And, hell, I am full of questions today: Why did John and Lindsey stop working together?
I wish they would release them all. Too many of them are out of print. A lot of them are on Spotify but I'd rather buy them all and have my own copies.
For 'Liddy Buck' I think the chords mostly seem to be just C and G with a capo at the sixth fret for the verses and then for the "and it's been too long" part it's:
Dm, G, Dm, G, C, Dm(for half a measure), G(for half a measure)
and then back into the verses.
I'm not 100% on this since I've just worked it out right there now but they're basic chords that sound okay. If you work out any better ones I'd be interested in getting them
As for why they stopped working together, I've no idea but I think it's a shame they didn't do much work together after Bombs Away Dream Babies.

http://www.spotify.com/en/products/free/ It's a program that lets you listen to a lot of songs but I think that at the minute it might be restricted to Europe/UK but I guess it's worth a try.
I hope those chords are at least half way correct. If they aren't then be sure to correct me!

Hey Carne, how did those chords work out? Were they in any way close? Do you happen to have worked out the chords for American Way from 'Wires from the Bunker' with Lindsey? I want to learn it but can't be bothered working out the chords right now.
