Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knew why Little Lies doesn't seem to have appeared in many live set lists for a while? Personally it's one of my favourites and I'm surprised that it's just never played anymore. Am i missing something obvious, or is it not quite as popular amongst everyone other than me?!

C'mon Michelle, admit it!!!! Somebody TRY to deny it!!!......Christine is the ONLY one, who sounds as good as ever!!! Somebody make the claim, that Stevy or Lindsay( ) sounds as good now! Not even close! I'm actually embarassed for them, now...

the funny thing is, your little songbird sounded like shit back in their heyday (live).

i don't agree about her being the heart and soul. i don't think she was any more important than any other member of fleetwood mac as for the rumours era, i think she did a good job of balancing stevie and lindey's "out-there-ness" and keeping them in the mainstream, but mainstream is also boring. lindsey was most weird, then stevie, then chris. some people just didn't "get it". hell, it took me 3 years to appreciate some of lindsey's songs from SYW now i love them. but my point is, i always think of christine's songs as "pop candy" and no real emotion. before you jump my ass, i understand there are exceptions to the rule. "why" being an obvious one, and i can think of several more. but most of her songs never make me stop and think. they just trudge along. idk. i know i'm in the minority, but that's how i feel. i can't conceal it.

granted, you make loving fun is in my top 5 songs on my itunes. i think i've listened to it over 100 times

also keep in mind, i'm only referring to songwriting and singing. i couldn't even begin to discuss her contributions as a keyboardist because i know nothing about it.

Stevie Nicks sucks.

Stevie fans always say they "get it," as if that junior-high-school gibberish she pens needs to be "gotten."

It's crap. She's a numnuts. There's nothing to "get." Indeed, Stevie's whack-job fans only project their own goofy shit on her & her crappy lyrics, & then they talk about how "deep" she is.

If you ask them why she's so great, they all say "because you can interpret her words any way you wish." So if that's the criterion for being great, then logically speaking, the scribblings & scrawlings of a monkey brandishing a ballpoint pen are the greatest poetry of all.

Stevie Nicks is praised for her incoherence by her admirers. This "poet" is just a big Rorschach blotch. If you love hanging crystals in your room, if you like putting lace shawls over your lamps, if you like smearing lipstick on your stuffed animals, & if you like reading the poetry of teen diaries, then Stevie Nicks is your girl!

You must take Christine seriously, I have great respect for her, but Little Lies is the most irritating piece of crap she ever composed.
