Hello, my name is Jason, and I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan. I'm glad I found a forum of fellow Fleetwood Mac Fans. Anyways, these are two poems I wrote about a woman I once loved.
Kisses Indicate
I can leave the place where time stops
Just outside reality
I can leave the place where time stops
Material paradise vanishes
Censored screams whispered
They're spectacular with the vernacular of confusion
Kisses indicate the illusion
There's correlations between your lacerations
Watch the sunrise
And fall asleep in your arms
Coffee kisses at sunset
And wake me from my dreams
Censored screams whispered
They're spectacular with the vernacular of confusion
Kisses indicate the illusion
There's correlations between your lacerations
Dragon Fire Kisses
You re-hydrate my heart
And give me a soul inside
All I ever want is your love
I can look into your eyes
And gaze into a mystical paradise
All I ever want is your love
With lips like the smooth ocean current
Pulling my loneliness out to sea
With kisses like a dragon's fire
Burning away all my depression
All I ever want is your love
Thanks for the feedback. I truly appreciate it.
My brain thunk up Miss Lopez for some reason after reading this....
Burrito. Taco taco.
Burrito. Taco. Taco taco.
Don't think just because I got a lot of money,
I'll give you taco-flavored kisses, honey.
Fulfill all your wishes
With my taco-flavored kisses.
Taco taco. Burrito burrito. Taco taco.
Fulfill all your wishes
With my taco-flavored kisses! Taco taco.
Taco taco. Burrito burrito. Taco taco.
Baby, let's make a run for the border,
I've got a hunger only tacos can stop.
I know exactly what I'll order
Three tacos, two tostadas, and a soda pop.
I need to make a run for the border.
If you pay, I'll take off my top.
Do you remember what I want to order?
Three tacos, two tostadas, and a soda pop.
Yea-ah, and don't forget the hot sauce, chulo.
Oh, Ben, you are so perfect.
So spectacularrr in every way.
You bring light into my life, Ben.
You almost make me forget all about...tacoos!
Ooh, tacos so good in my tummy yummy yummy give me more.
I love you, Ben, you almost make me forget about.....tacoooos
Awake
As I approach the portal, between consciousness and sleep
I smell the romantic aroma of peach mango scented candles
The sweet fragrance of burning apple cinnamon incense
And intoxicating cherry vanilla perfume, drifting across from the other side
When I crossover into dreams
I hear serpents and scoundrels, speaking in tongues
Sirens singing of carnal delights, for shipwrecked sailors
And a seductive symphony of unconscious desires
I see bright yellow eyes, glowing in the summer moonlight
The reaper and father time playing chess, one of them nearing checkmate
The Phoenix rising from the ashes, of forgotten senses
And vibrant colors of red, orange, blue, pink, and purple
I feel cold hands reaching out from the shadows
Warm breath on the back of my neck, my hairs standing on end
Smooth velvet skin crawling beneath silk sheets
And wet tongues that slither slowly across my chest
At an elegant banquet, I dine on the finest ambrosia
A flavorful assortment of tastes, with sweet spices and marinades
Lobster tails and crab legs, smoked salmon, glazed shrimp, and filet mignon
Cooked vegetables, forbidden fruit, cheesecake with caramel, and white wine
Across the crowded ballroom, and through a maze of forgettable faces
I see a beautiful woman in a black sequined dress
She has soft white skin and long auburn hair
Red fingernails and a radiant smile, behind crimson lipstick
Her eyes are mysterious and mesmerizing
The right one is light blue
And the left one is dark green
Neither seem confined by mortality, or concerned with time
After a few moments she notices my transfixed gaze
And our eyes meet in a moment of unconscious destiny
Then she smiles seductively, and confidently walks towards me
As she approaches, I can smell her intoxicating perfume
Rendezvous
We had breakfast in bed
And watched the sunrise over the ocean
The strawberries, grapes, French toast, and orange juice
All tasted like the sweetest ambrosia
After breakfast I held you in my arms
And we kissed
Within the sanctuary of your love
I felt complete
At noon, we walked barefoot along the beach
In the shallow water, where the ocean kisses the shore
We talked for hours, and really connected
Body, mind, and soul
As evening approached
We stopped at a deserted part of the beach
And made passionate love
Your skin moved smoothly across mine
And I gazed into your eyes
I tasted the romance on your lips
But failed to notice the ominous clouds on the horizon
Exhausted from passion, we eventually collapsed in each other’s arms
Still sweaty, and breathing heavily-
We looked up at the magnificent display of stars
Our naked bodies illuminated by the moonlight
As a shooting star danced across the sky
I turned, kissed your strawberry lips, and said “I love you”
As if my lips tasted of poison, you immediately pulled away
And began to weep bitter tears
The more I tried to comfort you, the more you pulled away
Eventually saying, in between tears
That our romantic rendezvous would soon be over
I promised to love you forever
But you cast me out of your heart
Like a fallen angel from heaven
Heartbreak began to swallow me like quicksand
And I begged you to reconsider
Still myself confused from the sudden turn of events
You kissed me one last time, and then vanished
From the sanctuary of your love, I was banished
Left alone to sink in the quicksand of heartbreak
And eventually drown in an ocean of loneliness
Surrendering to despair
I lay my head down, closed my eyes, and began to drift away
As my last bit of consciousness faded
My alarm clock rang
And I awoke in a cold sweat of freezing tears…
Most dreams eventually fade
But the memory of your eyes
Which were both as gentle and ferocious as the sea
Never have
