Jeeezus!!! I've never seen so much snow in my life... literally! In Brownsburg, Indiana, we officially received 12.1 inches today. This is the most in 13 years when we received 10 inches. The last time we got so much snow was in January 1978, and we got over 15 inches. I was just an infant when that happened, so this is literally the most I've ever seen. I'm just dumbfounded.
Here's my backyard:
We got 13" down here, Maria! I've not tried to get out today, but I'm gonna try to escape and have a couple beers, here in a few minutes. My driveway's about 300' long. Without 4WD, there's NO WAY IN HELL that I'd be getting out. I may not, even with it.

idk how much we got here, but my sister made me clean off her car this morning and it SUCKED.
Even with 4WD, I almost didn't get out. I'd have to "beat forward", into it, until I was lifting the front wheels off the driveway(the snow lifting the body), then back up, and RAM it again. About 10 feet at a time, until I bludgeoned! my way out.
Well, I made it to work yesterday morning in it, but not without "plowing" my car through the driveway. And Greg, I made my oldest daughter dig her own car out. I didn't let her drive yesterday until I was with her, just so I could give her a driving lesson. It's her first year driving.
Pussies.
That's just a typical day here in Buffalo.
JK - we have the reputation but we don't get as much snow as other places like Syracuse. We probably got about 8-10" this time around. Not too bad.
It's supposed to hit 75 today and not a cloud in the sky. Last night it was freezing though. I think it got down to 50.
We're heading for another cold patch. As from Sunday it will be freezing every night and on Monday snow is expected as well. Right now it's 8.30 in the evening and its -1 celsius (or 30.2 F.) and going down .
Of course this does not compare to all the snow you guys are having but i'm going to need an amaretto-spiked gluehwein tonight

It's been snowing heavily in London tonight. This is what the road where I live looks like right now (sorry for the crappy pic, I took it on my phone). I love snow!
