I haven't heard all the live recordings, but so far I am really impressed: Go Insane sounds incredible, and Love Runs Deeper kicks major ass. I also think Don't Look Down is tremendous. If LIndsey and the band improve as the tour goes on, it's scary to think how good they will sound when they come to New York.

I agree. And Lindsey tends to get better after a month. Scary huh? Maybe a second show after all? Wink Bigthumbsup

Still possible. I'll update you.

I almost like the live version of Love Runs Deeper better.
If they get better as the tour goes on then minds will be blown! Wavey

For sure.

hey, dude, did you figure out chords for any of the new songs yet?

I am working on Treason, which seems to be mostly A D E?

Nope, I'm literally only back from the USA and haven't had a chance to sit down with my guitar yet.

Those sound like they could be okay for treason. From watching him play it live it looks like it was mostly the three major chords in an Open Tuning. If it's in Open A then those chords sound spot on. He goes into some C#m and Bm for the bridge part after the second chorus. That was the first one I was going to learn because it looked nice and simple when he was playing it so I'll try give it a go tonight if I don't die from jetlag but I think those 5 chords may be the only ones and the verses and chorus are all, as you said, A D E.

HOW WAS IT DUDE??????

It was freakin amazing. He was totally on fire and the set list worked so well. There were so many highlights that it'd be faster to just list the (few) "lowlights". Even the low points were great. I'll have a longer post to come once I get a bit of rest and a few more listens to GOS in.
Can't wait to read it, Peter. Focus on the highpoints. Lowpoints aren't interesting.
Can't wait to read your review!! I leave Friday for my LB Tour. CANNOT WAIT.
Does anybody have an mp3 of the new live version of Go Insane? I'd kill to have that.

just found this on the ledge. i'm listening to it now for the first time.

Hey all, checking in from Kansas City. Went to the Tulsa show last night and O....M.....G. Eek The way Lindsey is singing on this tour blows my mind. INCREDIBLE. I got chills and had tears last night. I hadn't listened to any of the shows before my live one last night, and I'm glad I didn't. I was just stunned at how wonderful he sounded vocally.

Didn't get to meet him there, since they left ASAP to catch a flight, apparently, but wow, the concert...WOW.

My seat SUCKED, but there were some empty seats on the front row, which Lindsey (#1LiddyBuckFan on the Ledge) asked if we could move to. Security guy was super cool and let us. I took pics/video and will post all my stuff when I get home.

Can't wait for the KC show tomorrow night!! Bigthumbsup
Finally got around to the Glenside boot (the amazingest sound quality as ever from that taper!) and kicking myself for missing the tour, the band sounds great throughout! And Time Precious Time just got more devastating as the tour went along - since Lindsey plugged Go Insane in, this was his "whisper to a scream" song this tour.

So BangHead BangHead BangHead to me for not going...

oh man, we should have shared the car i rented. You would have had a flow of a lifetime. Every fucking detail fell into place. I would have been a millionaire if I bought a lotteryticket that week. Instead, I got something way better.
