I am planning a Halloween dinner party and want to play Halloween themed music so i've been raking my brains and so far this is what i've come up with:
Sympathy for the devil - Stones
devil in disguise - elvis presley
that old devil called love - alisson moyet
creep - radiohead
thriller - michael jackson
bobby picket - monster mash
rocky horror picture show : time warp
mike oldfield : tubular bells
specials - ghost town
talking heads - psycho killer
squirrel nut zippers - hell
kc and the sunshine band - I'm your boogieman
the adams family theme song
the munsters theme song
witch queen of new orleans
season of the witch - donovan
voodoo chile - jimi hendrix
house of the rising sun -animals
ghostriders in the sky
warren zevon : wherewolfs of london
red right hand - nick cave
vampire blues - neil young
witchy woman - eagles
sisters of the moon - FM
yellow moon - neville brothers

This will get us through drinks and appetizers so 'll need a lot more songs to get us through the rest of evening therefore : all suggestions are more than welcome (or in other words : PLEASE HELP ! Eek Laughing )
The Cramps: I Was a Teenage Werewolf

R. Dean Taylor/The Fall: There's a Ghost in My House

Roky Erickson: Night of the Vampire

David Bowie: Scary Monsters and Super Creeps

The Adverts: Gary Gilmore's Eyes

Pink Floyd: Careful with That Axe, Eugene

The original Doctor Who theme

And if you want to dabble in classical cliches, Mussorgsky's Night at the Bald Mountain and Bernard Herrmann's soundtrack for Psycho are where it's at. Bigthumbsup
Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead

and eh
Radiohead - Bodysnatchers (it's about zombies, honest)
No wait, that's Bangers 'N Mash.
Climbing Up The Walls is nicely creepy too, and perhaps Myxomatosis, and The Gloaming?

Fleetwood Mac - Blood on the Floor
... Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonite
(blood theme, you know)

Anything by Nick Cave, of course

The Smiths: Handsome Devil

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah: Satan Said Dance (I LOVE this song) (gets the room dancing)

Clinic: The Witch!
Band Of Horses: Is There A Ghost?

Metallica: Enter Sandman (is there a beast under your bed, in your closet, in your head?)
COZY POWELL - DANCE WITH THE DEVIL
Thanks guys ! i knew i could count on you. Wavey so keep them coming !

Heartless Bastards - Searching for the Ghost

A fabulous, fabulous album by the way.
Plenty of Black Sabbath ones. Bigthumbsup

The Wizard
N.I.B

Those two are some of the less doomy/heavy things. I assumed you don't want to go too heavy.
